4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon rose water
1/4 cup chopped pistachios or almonds for garnish

In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch until well combined.
Slowly pour the sugar and cornstarch mixture into the simmering milk, stirring constantly.
Continue to cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the rose water.
Pour the mixture into individual serving bowls or a large serving dish.
Allow the pudding to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
Garnish with chopped pistachios or almonds before serving.
